Charles Frederick Kissling

Born on 31 Oct 1845 , Theophilus was the third son of George and Margaret Kissling while they were working at the Mission in Te Araroa, then known as Kawakawa Bay.

He was educated at St John's College in Auckland.

After leaving school he joined the Bank of New Zealand and he was sent to the branch in Nelson.
